Jennifer Mann is a professional dancer, choreographer, dance, improvisation and yoga teacher. She has had an extensive performing and teaching career, teaching dance for 30 years and yoga for 21 years. She is the co-founder of the weissmann® dance technique and most recently the weissmann® teacher training, and is certified to lead the Group Motion Workshop, an improvisational evening focused on the universal language of movement and collective healing. Jennifer organises international retreats and workshops and is a certified member of the Berufsverband der Yogalehrenden in Deutschland (BDY) and the European Yoga Union (EYU). Jennifer currently teaches pedagogy in the Hatha Yoga of Rishiculture Teacher Training (200+300 hrs.) and has led teaching skills seminars in the International Shiva Shakti Yoga Teacher Training (500 hrs.). After her graduation from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, USA, Jennifer moved to Europe where she embarked on a career as a freelance artist with various choreographers and companies. Her yoga teacher studies began in the USA with Iyengar yoga teacher James Bryan (theyogaschool.com.au), and then continued on with a four year certification program at the Yoga Akademie Berlin with Yogacharya Ananda Leone, the founder of Shiva Shakti Yoga (yogaakademie.de ). She is a certified member of the the Berufsverband der Yogalehrenden Deutschland (BDY) and the European Yoga Union (EYU). Jennifer furthered her practice and study of Yin Yoga, completing a series of intensive studies with Josh Summers (joshsummers.net), and completed a meditation teacher training with Detlev Alexander. She is certified to lead the Group Motion Workshop, an improvisational evening focused on the universal language of movement and collective healing.
