TOUCH + ASSIST w/ Claudia Paz

This immersive weekend workshop is designed exclusively for yoga teachers who wish to deepen their confidence and fluency in the art of hands-on assisting. Over two full days of practice, exploration, and connection, you'll learn how to offer safe, supportive, and intuitive adjustments to support your student’s practice.

This module is more than technique. It’s a powerful way to build trust, elevate your teaching. You'll leave with a renewed sense of confidence and a full toolbox of practical skills. Whether you're a newly certified instructor or a seasoned guide looking to refine your touch, this intensive will support your growth and expand your capacity to hold space with wisdom and integrity.

PROGRAM:

• Friday: Principles of assist, Sun Salutation A + B ( step by step + in motion )
• Saturday AM: Morning practice, standing asanas + balancing on one foot
• Saturday PM: Sitting asanas, forward bending
• Sunday AM: Morning practice, backbends
• Sunday PM: inversions 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• A deeper understanding of asana
• Explore the foundations of communication, energetic awareness, and consent-based touch
• Learn techniques for offering assists that are clear, empowering, and respectful
• Cultivate your own intuition and presence as a teacher through guided practice and peer exchange
• Feel comfortable and confident in your touch

ABOUT CLAUDIA

Claudia is a yoga teacher and founder of Casa Paz, a studio in Barcelona dedicated to creating space for mindful movement and community. With over seven years of practice and teaching experience, she guides students through immersive sessions that balance strength, focus, and presence.

Her journey began with a love for sports and the search for greater mobility and flexibility, which led her to Ashtanga yoga. Drawn to its combination of physical intensity and mental discipline, Claudia soon discovered that yoga offered something deeper than any other practice she had known. Curiosity about the philosophy behind yoga inspired her to study further and eventually share her knowledge through teaching.

In her classes, Claudia weaves together devotional chanting, clear guidance, and music that supports the rhythm of practice. She invites students to explore not only the physical postures but also the inner awareness that yoga cultivates.

Please note that the training runs with a minimum of 9 participants.
