TIP: The movement is very similar to the one on the back.
Here are the steps to do froggy legs with the face in the water and the arms straight:
1. Lie on your stomach in the water, with your head down and your arms straight ahead of you.
2. Bend your knees and bring your heels towards your buttocks, with the soles of your feet touching each other.
3. Next, slowly kick your legs outwards and then back inwards, keeping them close to the surface of the water.
4. Wait 2 seconds in the neutral position after every kick.
5. Keep your head down and try to maintain a relaxed, streamlined position in the water.
6. Repeat the exercise several times, gradually increasing the duration of your kicks as you improve your comfort and balance in the water.
Remember to keep your breathing relaxed and natural, and to avoid holding your breath for too long. Froggy legs with the face in the water and the arms straight is a great way to develop basic water skills, build confidence in the water, and prepare for more advanced swimming techniques.
