À propos de l'entraîneur/professeur

Michelle Alice - Master Trainer/Owner Michelle Alice discovered Pilates 25 years ago through her ballet training. After just a year of Pilates, she earned a full scholarship to America's top ballet schools. The unique "Beyond Pilates" method helped Michelle surpass all her self-imposed goals throughout her ballet career. At the beginning of her journey, she never imagined achieving so much. From then on, Pilates became an integral part of her life. Her mentors include Marie Jose Lawrence (Teacher Training Course – California), an internationally recognized and respected Pilates instructor, and Lisa Marie Goodwin, a Master Trainer under Marie Jose Lawrence. Both significantly shaped Michelle's understanding of Pilates over an extended period. Through her work, Michelle realized that there is more than meets the eye and that we are the origin and source of everything. Inner peace is crucial for revitalizing the body. "Our energies are at the heart of bodywork!" Later, Michelle incorporated the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® to deepen her energy and bodywork. She trained in New York City with Hilary Cartwright and the system's creator, Juliu Horvath. Gyrotonic combines elements of Tai Chi, Yoga, swimming, acupressure, and dance. Michelle had the privilege of training at the first GYROTONIC® studio in New York City, thanks to her education at the School of American Ballet. During that time, a principal dancer from the New York City Ballet also trained there. Michelle later accepted an offer in Vienna, dancing in cities like Vienna, Monte Carlo, Berlin, and Tallinn. Severe pain in her cervical spine led specialists to discover a congenital deformity in her spine, which forced her to abandon her dance career to avoid the risk of paralysis or even death. Consequently, she focused more on Pilates and GYROTONIC®. Michelle moved to Florence to expand her knowledge at the Biomechanics Studio of Pino Carbone (Il Vortice). She then began teaching across Europe, from State Opera dancers to stroke patients. Now, Michelle owns numerous Pilates and GYROTONIC® Studios in Vienna and Klosterneuburg, Beyond Pilates®. Over the years, Michelle has trained more than 100 instructors.
