To perform butterfly kicks, lie face down in the water with your arms extended out in front of you and your legs together. Bend your knees slightly and then quickly straighten them while at the same time pushing your hips downwards. Keep your legs together and point your toes outward, then bring your legs back up quickly, bending at the knees and bringing your feet towards your hips. As your legs come up, press your hips up and forward, pushing your body through the water. Repeat the motion, with the downbeat and upbeat alternating to generate forward propulsion. Keep your legs together and maintain a smooth motion to maximize efficiency and minimize drag. With practice, butterfly kicks can help you to develop leg strength, flexibility, and endurance.

Born in Romania, I began swimming at a young age and pursued a career that spanned over 17 years. Throughout this time, I traveled the world, competing in various international swimming competitions and earning an impressive collection of over 250 medals.
