What to Expect

For many people, receiving support feels unfamiliar. Sometimes it feels uncomfortable, sometimes it feels like too much, sometimes we worry we are asking for too much, and sometimes support doesn't feel accessible at all.

Join Karolin Frick for a transformative workshop where we explore, through asana practice, props, and partner exercises, how support can be felt in the body.

We'll gently investigate questions like:

  • When does support feel nourishing?
  • When does it become overwhelming?
  • How much support is okay?
  • Can I ask for it?

Through this practice, we cultivate a non-judgmental attitude, allowing us to listen more carefully and respectfully to our own organism. This workshop is an invitation to soften into support and discover what it means to truly let yourself be held.

Yoga as a purely physical practice was my entry point, until I had my first deeply transformative class back in 2018 in Mexico - I felt an inner peace I didn't know I could feel. Shortly after I sat my first silent retreat for 10 days and everything changed. While people, sports and places I lived fell away and changed, yoga always stayed. How I practiced though changed too, it evolved with me and could give me whatever I needed on the way. In times of full energy, I practiced a lot of strength, and in times of stress or even burnout, I learned to lean into a more receptive and restorative practice. And in time of illness, my practice adapted again. That's what I want to offer my students as well: a practice that is suitable for you as a unique and constantly changing individual. To inquire, stay curious and connect and build trust in your body.
